大多數的機器人焊接也是氣體保護焊接,需要一種氣體對焊接處進行保護隔離,防止焊接處氧化造成焊接不良。常見的焊接方法有CO2氣體保護焊、MAG和MIG焊。CO2氣體保護焊就是以99%以上的二氧化碳氣體作為保護氣體的焊接方法;MAG是80%的隋性氣體(氬氣或氦氣)+20%的二氧化碳氣體作為保護按氣體來焊接的方法;MIG是以99.9%的隋性氣體(氬氣或氦氣)作為保護氣體焊接的方法。

MIG主要應用在鋁、銅等的有色金屬焊接中,CO2焊接是焊接應用中使用多的焊接方法,具有強度高、成本低的特點。但缺點是焊接時飛濺太多,焊渣不易清理。而使用MAG焊,即能保證焊接強度,外觀成形好,焊渣少。是近幾年在FANUC焊接機器人應用中使用為廣泛的一種焊接方法。

But the disadvantage is that there is too much spatter during welding, and the welding slag is difficult to clean.
